Best Beard & Worst Tattoo Competition – T&Cs

  • Entrants must be 18 years or over.
  • Entry is free.
  • Competitors must be present at the event to be judged and eligible to win.
  • Best Beard must be the entrant’s own beard — no fake additions or enhancements.
  • Worst Tattoo must be a genuine tattoo belonging to the person entering the competition.
  • Tattoos must be appropriate to display in a public venue. Offensive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate tattoos may be excluded from the competition.
  • Entries will be judged by our panel of professionals, using their own expertise and judging criteria.
  • The judges’ decision is final — no arguments, bribes or promises of free beer will change their minds!
  • Winners will be announced on the night and must be present to claim their prize.
  • Photos may be taken during the event. By participating in the competition, entrants acknowledge that event photography may occur. Any use of an entrant’s submitted entry photo and name for promotional purposes will be in accordance with the permission selected above.
  • Speight’s Ale House Invercargill reserves the right to refuse or remove an entry where reasonably required.
  • Normal venue entry requirements and host responsibility policies apply.
